FF: Results Week 4

Week 4 is finished and the results are in.

XII(9.9) 92
USC(1.1) 81

In the biggest upset of the year, undefeated USC lost to the completely defeated Xillers II. Both teams made some last day changes to their line-ups. Some think that USC was being nice and letting XII win. Some think it was just luck that XII had its best game when USC had its worst. And some think that the kicker Rackers (23 pts) is amazing.

This game knocks the powerhouse USC into second place and moves Xillers II out of the tie with the starter-less team.

PADS(1.2) 122
Drago(3.5) 73

PADS took sole position of first place with this solid win. DragonRun put up his lowest point total against PADS who had his highest score this year.

PADS had multiple strong players while DragonRun players mostly had a very average week.

Spies(3.3) 103
Expo(3.4) 70
(GOTW)

The Game of the Week turned out to not be so exciting. With her consistent players, the Spies led by 34 points going into Monday and Expo only had one player left, Smith (WR). He had earned 35 points the week before but was held to only 1 this week.

This moves the Spies into a tie for second place.

Snap It(6.6) 108
POW(9.10) 0

Snap It had an excellent week. Unfortunately, it was against POW.

KatoBack(6.8) 92
SmashPanic(6.7) 125

Even with Favre's 37 points, Kato succumbed to SmashPanic's week leading 125 points to drop her into a tie for 8th place. Led by Burress(WR, 32 pts) SmashPanic had a good game by nearly all of his players. He is now in the big tie for 4th.

2.2 USC 3-1-0 405.00 L1
2.3 Spies 3-1-0 401.00 W3
4.4 Snap 2-2-0 373.00 W1
4.5 Smash 2-2-0 367.00 W2
4.6 Expo 2-2-0 363.00 L1
4.7 Drago 2-2-0 349.00 L2
8.8 Kato 1-3-0 314.00 L2
8.9 XII 1-3-0 285.00 W1
10 POW 0-4-0 0.000 L4

Next Week:

PADS(1) vs USC(2.2) (GOTW)
The number one versus the number 2. USC is coming off of a heartbreaking loss to the Hawkeyes... I mean to Xillers II (I can dream, can't I?). Can they come back and challenge the powerful PADS.

XII(8.9) vs Spies(2.3)
In what sounds like the name of a bad video game, the Spies take on Xillers II. The Spies have become very strong after their week one loss but Xillers II is coming off of a big win.

Drago(4.7) vs Snap(4.4)
Both of these teams are capable of big numbers (and both are capable of average numbers. This could be a very good game.

Smash(4.5) vs Expo(4.6)
The other fourth place tie breaker game pits SmashPanic (who had the high score last week) against Expo (who had the low score last week). Can Expo turn it around?

POW (10) vs Kato(8.8)
Yeah, Kato is going to win.

Well, that's it for this week. Remember to put your vote in on the POW issue.
