FF: Results Week 5

The scores for week 5 are in. I'm on the road so it has taken me a little longer to get to this.

PADS(1) 72
USC(2.2) 94
The game of the week. PADS went into this game in sole control of the top spot and looked like he was going to keep it. But USC having just fallen from that spot played strong. Actually, both teams had down weeks but for USC a down week is scoring in the 90's. PADS just didn't have a good week which was exemplified by Manning only scoring 12 points and so the last undefeated team faltered.

Spies(2.3) 114
Out of no where Xillers II took the high score for the week to turn a fluke win into a winning streak. This was an unfortunate event for the Spies. She tied for the second highest score in the league this week but took home her second loss.

Drago(4.7) 89
Snap(4.4) 71
After a hard stretch of schedule (USC & PADS), DragonRun finally got a win. Snap It just had a low week and that drops them into the big tie for sixth place.

Smash(4.5) 103
Expo(4.6) 114
Expo was the other team to tie for the second highest score and she needed it. This game between number fours was great. SmashPanic had two quarterbacks score 30 points (he could only play one but it was worth noting) and he scored over 100 points but it was not enough. As an aside, the four top scorers played each other this week. This was unfortunate for SmashPanic and the Spies.

USC(1.1) vs Spies(3.3) (GOTW)
USC will face the Spies after just retaking the top place. Both teams have recently suffered embarrassing losses to the near last place Xillers II. I don't know how that will affect this game but it's hard to not see all the games through the lens of my team.

Snap(6.7) vs PADS(1.2) (GOTW2)
This should be an interesting game. Even though PADS has been dominant in most of his games, last week was a very poor week. Snap It also had a poor week. It looks like the team that can turn it around first will win this week.

Smash(6.6) vs XII(6.8)
SmashPanic has just dropped to number 6 and Xillers II are excited to have reached the same rank. This will split them in the rankings.

Kato(6.9) vs Drago(3.5)
DragonRun looks to increase his streak to two wins.

Expo(3.4) vs POW(10)
I'm rooting for Expo.
