I will not let this die

It's been a while since anyone has posted. Blogger seems to think someone posted today but I don't know where that post is (I keep reloading the front page and it isn't there). So I thought I would make it true.

We're all back from our trips. Everything went well except we came back with colds.

We've decided that the "rest areas" (read: captive commerce areas) on the Ohio and Indiana toll way suck. Arial pointed this out but in Iowa the rest areas on the *toll free* roads usually have a nice big grassy area or a playground where a child can sit on the ground and crawl around.

In Ohio and Indiana, the "rest areas" only have a little grassy pet area, which is slang for "dog bathroom". We certainly aren't going to let our little girl crawl around in that. It's not like we really have a choice either. We would have to pay to leave the toll road and since no one does, there are no amenities even if we did.

Toll roads suck. Especially since we've already paid for them.

I just wanted to let you all know that we have a bunch of our college friends coming this weekend. So I won't have time to talk on the phone. I don't suppose it really matters since we'll be seeing most of you next weekend.
